Ray brings over 35 years’ experience in branding, research and internal and external communication to his role as Managing Director at GPS Pty Ltd.
As founder and Managing Director of Andrews Group, a research-led strategy consultancy, Ray has worked with hundreds of clients across a number of industries and professions, including banking and finance, law, education, accounting, transport, tourism, health, energy, automotive, hazardous waste, construction, property and asset management. He has also worked extensively for government at all three levels, mostly for the Australian Government.
Prior to starting Andrews Group, Ray was the first national marketing director of Australia’s largest professional body, the now 127,000-member CPA Australia. Ray launched the landmark national brand campaign, introducing Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) to Australia. Before this, Ray completed training as an army officer and taught secondary school mathematics.
Ray is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a Member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS).
Dr Dave Stewart
Chief Operating Officer
Dave oversees all day-to-day operations at GPS Pty Ltd, in particular the statistical analysis required to generate a growth potential score for our clients.
Dave has the rare skill set of being both an academic, with a PhD in Mathematical Statistics, as well as 20 years’ experience as a corporate researcher in both client-side and consulting organisations. Dave was a marketing academic at Monash University for ten years where he introduced the teaching of marketing metrics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Dave continues to teach part time at Monash University and Deakin University.
Dave is a member of the American Marketing Association.
Head of Research
Jillian brings over six years’ experience in all aspects of market and social research to the role of Head of Research at GPS Pty Ltd. Jillian offers clients a strong scientific discipline to the processes of data collection, analysis and interpretation. As Head of Research, Jillian leads our research team in its day-to-day operations, including everything from respondent recruitment through data collection and interviewing to report preparation.
Jillian has worked on numerous research projects with clients from across all tiers of government and the private sector.
Jillian holds a Masters in Commerce (Marketing) from Swinburne University, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and is a member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society.
Lucy has been a great asset to the organisation since joining GPS Pty Ltd just over a year ago, exhibiting exceptional personability with research participants in recruitment and data collection tasks and high enthusiasm for all aspects of market and social research. Lucy’s research experience spans quantitative data collection and analysis, desk-based research, qualitative and quantitative recruitment and report preparation and writing.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Management and Marketing) from the University of Melbourne, and is a member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society.
